The Essence of Numerology - an Introduction:

The essence of numerology is about getting to know your Self in a deeper, more complete way. It's about finding the missing pieces of the puzzle and slowly but surely, placing them where they belong. Just knowing about issues and factors in ones life means, we have the knowledge and awareness to do something about those things that concern us AND focus on the wonderful aspects of who we already are! There are positives and negatives - such is life. Our experience on earth is through the medium of duality. We have a light side and a shadow side. Our lesson is to diminish the negatives (the shadow) and expand on the positives (the light), thus becoming more conscious individuals. In so doing we can make conscious choices that are more in line with our soul purpose.

A numerology chart is a story - all the bits link in to one another and form a web - the story of our lives. Yes, lives - many of them, because who we are today is molded by who we have been in the past. Although there is no prerequisite to believing in reincarnation or the likes, numerology is largely based in the assumption that we have lived and explored before (many times.) This influences who we are now - we "bring in" energy from our past lives, which has impact on how we live in our present world.

Before reincarnating onto this earth plane, your soul chooses the energy pattern that it wishes to embrace for the duration of this life. With this in mind, your soul contracts to other souls to experience significant relationships on this earth plane. The most important relationships are with parents, siblings and offspring. It stands to reason then that your parents will select a name that carries the vibratory patterns that are in sync with your soul purpose. Your soul controls the day that you enter this earth place, so your birthday becomes your anchor into the earth energy. So, from your birthdate and name, your chart will be revealed unto you...

Another very important concept is that these "contracted" relationships work in the form of holding behavioural mirrors for you (they reflect your behaviour, beliefs, thoughts, actions, etc), in order to increase your awareness of the lessons you have chosen to learn and experience. Some lessons come to you in this form, in other words, you don't actually DO the behaviour, but it happens in your world around you. You experience it indirectly, and so, learn from it that way.

With Karmic numbers (the Malefics), which are the negative expression of a number, you may react to them in the extreme opposite in this life time, as you have an intuitive sense that you do not want to re-experience that lesson again. The purpose of these karmic lessons is to stimulate you to balance the energy to the harmonious vibration. We need to learn that we have choices to make and that they directly influence our lives - Newton's law of cause and effect - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

It is all a guide line, spiritual guidance. See it as perhaps a new way of looking at your world, through new eyes, from a different angle. Rejoice in the wonders and pay attention to those areas that need attention. Nothing is "bad" as such - everything is a challenge to grow and become conscious.

Although I present the aspects of the chart individually, they really all blend and swirl together, like a dance - YOUR DANCE OF LIFE. On paper, it is hard to tell the tale but it is a simple representation of something complex and a good way of learning. Read it over and over... new things will emerge that you hadn't noticed the time before. Most of all be blessed for you have been given another chance to grow and find peace in who you are.
